ARTIST NOTES: Alaya - Deep blue, aqua, light teal and white predominantly with gold highlights. Beautiful seascape/planetscape. A lot of time and care goes into the creation of these pieces. The beautiful light Birchwood panels arrive raw. They are then sealed back and front twice to prevent any moisture penetrating the wood. From here they are primed top side with 3 coats of paint to enhance the colours of the finished artwork. Imagination takes over and your beautiful artwork is then created, the fun part. Then resin coated to give a glass like finish. To polish out any finger prints use a soft microfibre cloth. Enjoy.

ARTIST BIO

I have always been a creative, from as far back as I can remember. Jewellery maker, professional Leadlighter and self taught artist who has dabbled and played with different techniques most of my life. None have captured my spirit so completely as the world of abstract has. I have dived headlong into this world and quickly moved into what I call 'the zone'. It is the place wherein I create worlds and find myself totally absorbed and deliciously lost in the process. From nothing arises hauntingly familiar landscapes which move from dark and turbulent into ethereal softness. The process I employ is the same for each and every one of them and yet they are all so vastly different. I paint intuitively, I let the colours and the flow guide me. I usually have a number of pieces on the go and work between each of them as they slowly reveal all that they are to me. The journey of creation is a spectacular journey and one that I am so very privileged to be able to immerse myself within. It is the fire that moves us constantly forward.
