Lorraine began her art adventure with the Mentone- Mordialloc Art Group as a hobby artist and from that early journey she has developed into one of Australia's sought after artists with her portrayal of iconic beach scenes and still life representation. Lorraine's other lesser-known passion is her love of animals that is demonstrated in her study of her canine companions.
Lorraine's works has now generated over 150 awards including the Fredrick Mc Cubbin award in 2001 and in 2004. Her paintings are held in numerous private collections throughout Australia and overseas. Her portrayal of still life emphasizes the natural beauty of each subject matter through light and shade capturing the essence of our country's flora in all its glory. |
