ARTIST NOTES: I painted my brother reading by the light. Books are his light into knowledge and learning about the world. He is creating his own library. This was my final assignment for school. I used oil, acrylic and gel.I wanted my painting to be more of an impressionistic style. I was partly influenced by Edvard Munsch.
