ARTIST BIO

hi im doug frith artist ,based in adelaide ,and iv been painting for 35 years ,im self tought ,i paint naive out back pieces i call old fred ,also i paint out back land scaps ,and sea works ,iv won prizes for my works in broken hill agg shows ,iv been a finalist in the rockingham art prize in wa iv done self funded exabitions in sa ,and been in a exabition in wa .i have collectors all over aus and over seas ,wales new york dubi just to name a few ,thank you for takeing all my art workes on here are from a recent exhibiton here in salisbury the past 4 years iv had cancer were i lost my right eye and socket and part of my cheek bone ,and now in remision and still doing what i love ,as well as being invited to enter pieces in the breaker drought lunch put on by the adelaide show group to raise funds for the farmers in time of this drought ,so thank you for taking time to look at my work i also have a web site ,www.dougfrithart,com
